Join us for the June Cruise to Fisherman Bay on Lopez Island

Schedule of Events:

Monday, June 17

• Check in beginning at 1:00 PM (1300 hrs); hail SBYC on VHF channel 72 as you approach the marina
• Upon arrival, pick up your Cruise Packet from your hosts on S/V Undine in slip 305
• Bring two bottles of the same wine of your choosing, bagged to preserve their identity, to the host boat S/V Undine by 4:00 PM (1600 hrs) for the Wine Tasting Challenge (if you wish to participate)
• 4:30 PM (1630 hrs): BYOB Happy Hour and Wine Tasting Challenge (with appetizers provided by SBYC)
• BYO wine glass.  Prize will be awarded for the most popular wine.
• Dinner on your own

Tuesday, June 18

• 9:00 AM (0900 hrs): Breakfast of eggs, sausages, fruit & juice served on the dock
• BYO coffee, plate, and utensils
• 2:30 PM (1430 hrs): Meet ashore at the Tiki Corral to build and decorate your own yacht, then compete for prizes in a race
• All materials for boat building and decorating will be provided (note that this event is not the same as the Raingutter Regatta held at the Shakedown Cruise; you'll be creating a very different type of vessel and competing in an entirely different style of race)
• Racing starts at 4:00 PM (1600 hrs)
• PLEASE NOTE:  No outside alcohol (i.e. from the docks) may be consumed ashore.  All alcohol consumed shoreside must be purchased from the resort.  You may purchase alcoholic beverages in the bar during this activity.  You may bring your own non-alcoholic beverages to the Corral.
• 5:30 PM (1730 hrs) Potluck Dinner in the Tiki Corral.  Bring your own entrée for grilling.  Last names A-I please bring a side to share; J-O please bring salad; P-Z please bring dessert.
• BYO place settings
• There will be servers at this time from whom you can purchase alcoholic beverages
• Prizes awarded for winners of the boat race
  

Wednesday, June 19

• 9:00 AM (0900 hrs) BYO coffee; muffins provided by SBYC
• Depart for home by 11:00 AM (1100 hrs), tide permitting

Important Information:

The price of this event is $5.00 per person if paid by check or $5.19 each if paid online with a credit card.

Your registration fee does not include your boat moorage.  After registering for this cruise you must contact Lopez Islander Marina at (360) 468-2233 to pay for your moorage as soon as possible, no later than May 17.  Per marina policy, no refunds are given for cancellations after May 17; instead they'll offer credit for future moorage within one year.
